How to Start A Budget in 2 Steps

Two steps to start a budget, huh?

I know, it sounds nuts, but I swear, that’s all you need to get started. It’s that simple, and it’s that easy.

Hey bestie, it’s your Budget|BFF here, stopping by to help save you from the overwhelm of starting a budget.

This is what you need to do:

1. Write down your money in.

2. Write down your money out.

You see, when we boil it down, a budget is made up of only two components: income {money in} and expenses {money out}.

Budgets can be as simple or as complex as you want, and what I’ve just shared is a budget in its most simplest form.

So, grab a piece of scrap paper, draw a line down the middle, write your money in on the left side and write your money out on the right side.

Now you have a budget!

If you want something a little bit more pretty than a regular old piece of paper, then be sure to sign up for free access to the Budget|Vault and grab the Super Simple Budget Printable.

The Super Simple Budget Printable is available for free when you sign up with your email to access the Budget|BFF Vault.

Now, go get your budget on, bestie!
